Miopneuma (pronounced 'mee-oh-new-mah', coming from the latin words 'Mio', meaning small; deficient, and 'Pnuema', meaning air, or breath) is a gram negative bacterium that is commonly found in the lungs of cold-blooded organisms (endotherms). Most miopneuma strains are harmless, but some, such as strain A43, can cause serious congestion, loss of breath, or even death in small organisms.

Symptoms
This disease infects the lungs of an organism, and shrinks it, to the point where it gets hard to breathe. Some strains take away breath entirely; others come as a minor annoyance.

Strains

There are four strains of miopnuema. Miopnuema A1, A2, A3, and A4.

A4 is the deadliest, with symptoms such as lack of air, choking, wheezing, coughing fits, and coughing up blood. Can be obtained by limited contact with anything infected.

A2 is the weakest, but is transferred easily. It spreads in almost every way imaginable.

Well I do need more information on the cells/bacteria and fatality information. Other symptoms and sighs would be good. Make it look like a Wikipedia article.

Please explain the color. It is Impossible to name the germ without the color. So then I can scientificaly classify it.

It is relevant for it classifies them in a specific group.

Linnaeus taxonomy - Binomial nomenclature

Developed by Carl Linnaeus between 1745-1760, Binomial nomenclature is currently the modern way of classifying Animals and Plants. Bi means Two. It means we use two words in classifying animals and plants. 1st word will be the plants genus. The second word is a description of it. The most common way of explaining the description, we go to the color. So i would classify your germ. Miopnuema caeruleus is the scientific name of your bacteria. Caeruleus means blue in latin. Will this, in any way, be manipulated by other organisms as some sort of defense? I'd love to see T'sar's organisms using this variety of disease as a defense mechanism more than a death bringer by evolving specialized systems that can create and immunize it from that, and already I'm getting some designs in my head for a rather deadly distant relative of Earth's Possums.

Creatures such as that are not top priority at the moment. First we must work on bacteria, algae, and oceanic life. However, keep that idea in your head, we can no doubt use it later.

*sigh* Now if only I could find a name and the proper classification for it... you see, I have this idea for glow-in-the-dark herbivores (which you should run away from quickly, seeing as they, you know, glow in the dark) that have, for some reason, developed only one anti-predator defense mechanism: the ability to have every lethal disease without killing themselves. Luckily they're all docile and only run away whenever threatened, but first colonists and most animal life have figured that it's going to be their last meal.

Unfortunately they're also extremely tasty.
